Action description
Come with us Saturday, July 29th to walk, run, hike the plateau of Llacao for Antony!

If you wnt to be involved in anyway here is the link:

Antony is an active 15-year-old boy who lost his leg last year in a motorcycle accident. We are joining with ROMP (range of motion project) to fund a high-performance prosthetic that will allow Antony to get back to being a fully active teen – sports and all - for his 16th birthday August 2nd!
Our goal is to raise $5000 for specific adaptations that will allow Antony the mobility that will reverse the limitations imposed on him the day of his motorcycle accident. Thanks to ROMP’s state-of-the-art adaptive technology, Antony’s leg will take him throughout his life and the future to which he currently aspires as the first college student in his family, possibly in medicine – and wherever else his dreams may take him.
Llacao is the long, natural plateau between Azuay and Canar that you see in the distance off to the left from the Autopista on your way from Cuenca to Azogues, but few have made their way up it to the incredible vistas of the surrounding area. Although indigenous peoples have used the plateau for centuries, they have kept it as open and beautiful as it is today. The topography allows you to walk, run, or hike Llacao!
Cuenca Llacao walk/run/hike is supported by Indivisible Ecuador, with additional funding from Helping Kids in Ecuador (HKIE) and End the Cycle of Poverty (ECP).
