ABOUT THE "NO RANSOM TO BE PAID" SERIES:
Ed Miller and Pangea present evenings of music, featuring the songs of Erik Ransom (GRINDR The Opera, More Than All the World, Happy Yummy Chicken) performed by special guests during each event, with additional breathtaking sets from composer and singer Ilene Kristen, to a concert of Erik Ransom's unauthorized parody, GRINDR The Opera, concluding with the vocal stylings of David Raleigh at our fourth night variety show!

Our 7/14 and 7/21 EVENTS- GRINDR THE OPERA IN CONCERT!
GRINDR The Opera (An Unauthorized Parody) in concert for two performances only at 7pm on August 7th and 14th at Pangea in the East Village! This hour-long concert version of Erik Ransom's smutty magnum opus, features Courter Simmons (B'way "Jersey Boys"), JP Almon ("Bridges of Madison County"- Williamstown, Radio City Christmas), Brandon Haagenson, (Off-B'way "Afterglow") Devin Holloway, (Int'l Tour "Hair") and DJ Bucciarelli ("54: The Musical").

GRINDR THE OPERA- ERIK RANSOM'S SMART AND HILARIOUS LOOK AT THE FAMOUS GAY DATING APP, GRINDR
Set in 2009, at the dawn of the age of the Hookup App, GRINDR is an unauthorized parody, which tells the story of four gay men, seeking different types of connection, who intersect to hilarious and calamitous results in this sung-through musical parody that puts the notorious gay hook-up app into the exaggerated world of opera. With musical styles ranging from contemporary pop to baroque, Grindr The Opera is a daring, humorous look at the changing landscape of gay relationships, and the greatest catalyst for the shift: GRINDR.
